Thoughtless Thursday: Dental Check Up

The amazing staff from Valuecare Veterinary Clinic from Chaska, Minnesota provided free dental screening and nail trimming while at the Pet Expo.

They were wonderful and gave me lots of attention and treats. How is a dog suppose to pass up both of those!

While at the Expo I learned so much about my teeth and how to better care for them. I'm excited to share with you all next week a new product that I found!

So here is the question for all of you:
Do you get your pets teeth professionally cleaned? How do you maintain your pets pearly white teeth? What products do you use?

  4. I was doing a good job brushing, but have let that fall off:( This was reinforced by the vet saying their teeth look great! The dogs do get dental treats daily to help. Can't wait to read about your new product!

  5. EEK! I try my best to brush their teeth. I will admit I do not do it often enough though. Thank you for the kick in the butt!
I use both a regular doggie tooth brush and a finger doggie tooth brush. I use the regular one to reach to their back teeth, and the finger one for the rest. They hate it!!
    Thanks for linking up!

  7. Ruckus needs to take a part of this free screening. Where does that exist around the Bay Area?

We brush with doggytooth paste and give dental chews nightly. Never have been to the dentist though!

  12. Hi there (Daisy and Jess here)

Great post here. We get special drops in our water to keep our teeth white and dog fresh!

Our owners say the drops are quite cheap and can be purchased from any local vets. We love staying fresh and healthy. All dogs teeth should be taken care of too.

  13. When you go to a dentist for a routine checkup you most likely come in contact with a pick, a polisher, and dental mirrors. However, besides these common tools, dentists have dozens of dental tools that they work with every day. Some of these tools are used for cleaning, while others are used for managing the business end of their practice. Dental Handpieces
