Look Who's Happy

Hello Everyone and Happy Tasty Tuesday!
Today I'm excited to share with you Look Who's Happy Tempt'n Tenders the Chicken with Pumpkin Recipe. While learning more about this company, I fell in love with their philosophy:
"If there's one thing all dogs should have in common, it's that they should be happy!"

*Naturally raised meats providing high quality protein.
*Cage free poultry raised in the USA without hormones or antibiotics.
*Garden vegetables picked at the peak of ripeness.
*Carefully selected fruits rich in powerful antioxidants.

Let's start with my favorite thing about these treats besides the taste, they only have 6 ingredients. They are:
*Chicken
*Pumpkin
*Cane Molasses
*Salt
*Citric Acid
*Mixed Tocopherols
(source of Vitamin E)

My second favorite thing, they are made right here in the USA on their family owned plant.

These treats are about 4 inches long and come in a 4 ounce resealable bag to lock in the moister and flavor. They sell for about $8.99.

I had all I could do not to jump into my mom's arm and take this treat right from her. But, with a little self restraint I waited patiently. And let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait. Not only are these treats great for big dogs, but you can easily brake them into smaller pieces for smaller dogs as well.

I highly recommend this treat to all my four legged pals out there.

Memorial Day

To all the men, women, and animals who made the ultimate sacrifice,
we are forever thankful.

Thank you to History By Zim for letting me borrow the ceramic poppy for my photo. This is one of the 888,246 ceramic poppies that flooded the Tower of London last year. You can read more about this breath taking event here.

Frolicking in the Woods

This past week in Southern Minnesota it was on the cool side. Which made it great for frolicking in the woods.

One of my favorite places to hike is Minneopa State Park. This park has two gorgeous waterfalls, a couple of bridges, and lots of steps that go both up and down.

The best way to end a great hike is to play a wonderful game of fetch. My humans love using a stick, so if I loose it, they don't have to go searching for it!

Hanging outside was a great way to start my Memorial weekend.

P.S. Great news, no ticks the entire time I was in the woods!!! :)

Camping Tips & Tricks

When humans go camping they bring a lot of "stuff." But most of it is necessary such as the tent, sleeping bags, chairs, cooler of food, and fire wood. Today, I am sharing two of my favorite tips and tricks for camping with your dog.

First Tip: Yoga Mat
My humans use inflatable mats to sleep on and they bring a yoga mat for me. This provides a barrier between the ground and my bed (either a sleeping bag or a blanket) to help block out the cold that is radiating from the ground. Yoga mats are small, light weight, and very effective.

Second Tip: Free Samples
Free samples make quick and easy meals. Not only are they already in a sealed package, they are also premeasured and great for a single meal. All you need to do is bring one for each meal and they take up very little space.

Do you go camping with your dog, please share your tips and tricks with us.

Can't Take Much More

I don't understand, I am 10 times bigger then Callie the Cat, weighing 7 times more then she does and she is bossing me around. First she started by beating me up and biting my fluff and now she is eating my food right in front of my! What is wrong with this picture. I get that she was here first, but really a dog can't take much more. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
