Fit Friday: Playing in the Leaves

I know I have mentioned this once or twice or maybe three times, but I just love this time of the year because I get to: Playing in the Leaves.

One of my favorite past time is to play hide 'n seek. My humans will tell me to stay and they go and hide one of my toys out of sight. Then they say the famous words, "All done" and I dash out to find my toy. Now that we have so many leaves on the ground to make a giant pile, I love playing this game outside. With all the fun and interesting smells out right now playing in a pile of leaves is amazing. Not only am I working my body but also my mind.

As you can see I'm working on my football skills by recovering a fumble. Maybe the Vikings could use my help. What do you think?

  1. That sure is great fun but peeps gets tired of cleaning up all the leaves I bring indoors which get stuck to my furs. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly

  2. We love being in the leave too. Love your jersey too! Sadly, we have given up on the Vikes at this point, but I am chasing, I mean following the Gophers instead. We love the coach and are so happy for him and their success so far this year.

  4. Oh, Ma misses the big leaf piles...she used to play in them when she was young. I've never played in a big leaf pile. You are one lucky dog! You have mad football skills too! Happy Friday

  5. Hi Y'all!

I get so excited when my Human hides my bumpers, then we go for a walk. When we come back she directs me to the "hides". I have to listen and follow directions. It's really good obedience training and good mental training.

    Y'all come by now,

  6. Barley loves playing in the leaves, too. We both enjoy crunching in them on our walks. She'd love to be able to romp in the piles of leaves, but I doubt the lawn care people at our apartment complex would be too happy about that. You'll have to enjoy that extra for her!

  7. What a great game! My Jack is not much into leaves. His thing is snow-- oh boy. You are too adorable with your hide and seek game :)

  8. Mort would love to join in that giant pile of leaves! He sees one blowing in the wind and thinks it's a terrific toy - I can barely imagine what he would think about a pile of them!
