Black & White Sunday: Need Your Help

For the past couple of years I have been thinking about getting Spencer certified as a therapy dog.
Any suggestions on how I would start the process?
Thanks, Brittany (aka Spencer's mom)

  4. Does he have his CGC? The test for therapy dog is much like the CGC certification test. If you get CGC you are almost there! Should be a local agency that provides certification. Also, the test is on the Internet!

  6. TDI and Pet Partners seem to be the two biggest organizations. I'd suggest looking there first.

  12. other bloggers that you should definitely talk to are Sugar the Golden Retriever, Carmapoodale, and Pepper Pomeranian (Pepper's Paws) they are ALL legitimate therapy dogs.

  13. Hi there! I agree with Tenacious Terrier for TDI and Pet Partners. Molly's recommendation to visit Snoopy is a good one as is Caren's to visit Pepper and Carma as they are Service dogs. You can also visit Garth Riley (www.twagr.com) - he is a certified Therapy Dog as well as a certified Reading Dog (reads with kids).
