Through this blog I hope to share the adventures of Spencer, a rescued Goldendoodle, along with providing helpful information on pet safety, products, rescue organizations and much more.
http://snoopysdogblog.com/ Snoopy will be able to help. Pop over tomorrow and leave a message and they will get back to you. Have a serene Sunday.Best wishes Molly
Thank you Molly, I will definitely do that!!!
We don't know about therapy dogs, but we think it is a great aspiration! Lee and Phod
Thank you! Have a great Sunday Lee and Phod!!!
You want to start here: http://www.tdi-dog.org/ And then find a local group that is offering the training and testing I bet Spencer would make a great therapy dog Happy Sunday!
Wonderful! Thank you so much, appreciate all the help and advise!! Happy Sunday Gizmo!!!
Does he have his CGC? The test for therapy dog is much like the CGC certification test. If you get CGC you are almost there! Should be a local agency that provides certification. Also, the test is on the Internet!Your Pals Who Got Snow Today,Murphy & Stanley
We don't really know how to get started with therapy work but that is a very handsome picture of Spencer.Millie & Walter
TDI and Pet Partners seem to be the two biggest organizations. I'd suggest looking there first.
Well it looks like you got you help, we bet Spencer will be a great therapy pupper! The Mad Scots
I can't help you but I am sure he'll be good at it! Love Dolly
I think it's so great you want to do this! Good luck....I'm sure you'll find all the advice you need out here. Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
We don't know anything about being a therapy dog but we think Spencer would make a great one!
I don't know about therapy dogs but good luck with it ^ ^
other bloggers that you should definitely talk to are Sugar the Golden Retriever, Carmapoodale, and Pepper Pomeranian (Pepper's Paws) they are ALL legitimate therapy dogs.
Hi there! I agree with Tenacious Terrier for TDI and Pet Partners. Molly's recommendation to visit Snoopy is a good one as is Caren's to visit Pepper and Carma as they are Service dogs. You can also visit Garth Riley (www.twagr.com) - he is a certified Therapy Dog as well as a certified Reading Dog (reads with kids).Your pal,Oz
