Dr.Seuss "What Pet Should I Get?

"Make Up Your Mind!"

Yesterday, Dr.Seuss just released a new book called, "What Pet Should I Get?" I'm a fan of his other work and jumped on the opportunity to pre-order my own copy months ago!

"What will we do?"

The story is about Kay and her bother. Their parents told them they could go to the pet story and pick out a new pet.
But they found out how hard it was to pick out just one.

"We have to pick ONE pet and pick it out soon!"

In true Dr.Seuss style there is rhyming throughout the book. I absolutely love the ending of this book. But, you are going to have to read it for yourself to see how it ends!

There is a great tribute to Dr.Seuss himself at the end of the book. There you will find a note about Dr.Seuss, his pets, and how this book came to be!

This is a great book for anyone's book collection, especially children.

I was excited to sample their salmon recipe. These tasty treats are just the right size for medium to big dogs. They are also nice and soft for you to break in half for smaller dogs.

*Carefully selected ingredients
*Grain, gluten and wheat free
*No GMO ingredients
*No corn, soy or animal by-products
*Made in the USA from a family-owned company

Callie's Mischief

Happy Monday!
As most of you know by now, we are rearranging rooms in my house. Mostly, we are taking all my stuff out of one room and putting it into another room. Well, as my kissing booth was sitting out this weekend Callie took the opportunity to sit in it. Let's just say she now has a lot of explaining to do!
Hope you all have a great Monday. Stay out of trouble! :)

Lazy Sunday with Callie

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today's post is going to the cats! Well, at least to Callie the Cat.
She sure is a strange cat to say the least.

Over the last month we have been re-configuring rooms in my house since my Aunt moved out. Now my dad has his "Man Cave," Callie has her own room, and now mom and me share a room for crafts and blogging. In Callie's room, she has a wonderful day bed (picture above) for her to take her cat naps on and finally leave me alone in peace.

I guess, however, it is more comfy to lay on the floor in my room to take her naps. It wouldn't be so bad, but she purrs so loud. How is a dog suppose to get anything done.

July's Pet Gift Box

I'm excited to share with you the Pet Gift Box, July's subscription. Each month Pet Gift Box has a theme and July's theme was "Bark-B-Que."

I decided to pull out the ol' grill and present this box properly. I placed the meat on the grill and will let you know when they are done. In the mean time lets look at what else came in the box.

What's a Bark-B-Que with out condiments.
From Petchup we have:
Petcup
Muttstard
Bark B-Q

These condiments are great to put on your dog's food to add a little extra favor.

As appetizers we have Nathan's Famous Treats and Grill-icious Chicken Treats. These two treats are delicious and are proudly made in the US.

Just a little bit longer.....

They are finally ready!

Let me introduce you to the main course: BurgerBuddy, Sausage Rope Toy, or Hot Off The Grill Toy. The best part of all three of these toys, they all have amazingly loud squeakers!

Which one should I dive into first???

Barkworthies Bully Sticks Review

Today I'm sharing with you Barkworthies Bully Sticks.

Lets look at this treat in detail:
*Come in sizes for big dogs, little dogs, and dogs in between.
*They come in different shapes and textures that promote good dental health.
*Ingredient: Beef Pizzle - free-range, grass-fed cattle
*100% Digestible
*Additive-Free
*Chemical-Free
*Preservative-Free
*Natural Flavor
*Low in Fat, High in Protein
*Made in the USA
*Odor Free

This treat made it hard for me to wait patiently for my mom to take pictures. As you can tell in the picture above, I was giving my mom the "puppy eyes" for her to hurry up.

When it was finally time to sink my teeth into this treat I went to town. In the photos I wanted to show the different stages it took for me to eat this treat. I'm an aggressive chewer and I was able to consume this entire 6 inch treat in about 5 minutes. My mom got worried that I was going to chock on the this treat when it got small (last picture below) that she ended up throwing out the last little bit.

I would give this product 2 paws up.

I loved that this Bully Stick is made in the U.S. with limited ingredients and promotes good dental health. However, there was a risk of chocking at the end of this treat.

I'm Back with an Update

Hello my fur-iends, it has been a long time. I'm back and ready to kick some blogging butt! I bet you are wondering what I have been up to these day, well, let me tell you.

I have been enjoying the great outdoors and cooling off in my pool as often as possible. Not to mention playing catching, going for walks, and visiting the farm.

My aunt also moved out of my human's house earlier this month. So I have been helping them paint, clean and organize this new space. Once it is finished it will become my mom's craft room and my new office. I can't wait until it is finished, I will definitely share pictures with you all.

About two weeks ago I won this great prize package from Pixel Blue Eyes. This package included
2 Max Tshirts
Max Dog Tag
Max Bag
Max Hat
Max Bone Shaped "Duty Bag" Waste Dispenser Clip-On Kit
2 Movie Tickets
My mom brought my younger aunt and uncle to the movie last week and they absolutely loved it. Pixel was even sweet enough to send pictures of herself for me to give to my aunt and uncle.

Make sure you check out her blog, here is the direct link

Other then that I've just been hanging out with my humans. There is a lot of fun projects in the works and can't wait to share them with all of you.

A Yankee Doodle Doodle

I have been waiting all year to be able to flip the calendar to July. I was selected to be featured as Mr.July in RAGOM's 2015 calendar.

As most of you know, RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota) is the organization that rescued my mom from a puppy mill while she was pregnant with my liter mates and myself.

If you missed my post from yesterday here is the direct link for tips for "Keeping Your Dogs Safe This 4th Of July."
