One of my favorite times of the day is at night. When mom gets home from work at 10:30 pm, I grab my PrideBites toys and we head to the back yard for a wonderful game of fetch.
Through this blog I hope to share the adventures of Spencer, a rescued Goldendoodle, along with providing helpful information on pet safety, products, rescue organizations and much more.

Tasty Tuesday: Eating Healthy
I'm trying to eat healthier. Trying to eat more carrots, bananas, and apples. Only thing, these have amazing squeakers in the middle of them. Which makes them even more delicious.
I'm trying to be a good boy and patiently waiting for mom to say the magic words, "All Done." I mean, look at these puppy eyes......"All Done!"
I love all three of these real fruits and veggies. Does your dog like to eat real fruits or vegetables? Share with me which is their favorite!

Learn More About My Writing Process
I would first like to thank my pal Emma from My GBGV Life for inviting me to the Writer Process Blog Tour. I got to meet Emma and her human a couple of months ago and I must tell she is as amazing and wonderful in person as she is on her blog. Both of us hail from the land of 10,000 lakes, which makes reading her blog even more neat. Emma also has her own book out entitled, "Tales of a French Scent Hound."
What am I working on?
Right now, the biggest thing I'm getting ready for is my 1st Blogiversary in September. I have been working with great companies to put together a paw-rific giveaway. Also, working on setting up my post for that week and to find the right attire for this big milestone.
I'm also working on some product reviews including, Nature's Recipe Dog Food and Treats and from PetzLife Bath-Eaze, a waterless shampoo and conditioner.
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota), the company that rescued my mother, asking if they could use my 4th of July picture in their upcoming calendar. What an honor this is going to be. I have been working with them on all the legalistic and can't wait to share the finish product with all of you.
Why do I write what I do?
This blog was created for my humans and me to have fun and share those adventures with others who enjoyed hearing about them. Since starting my blog almost a year ago I didn't realize how much was out there in the dog world. As I learn about new exciting products, organization, or stories that touch me, I enjoy sharing them with all of you, my friends.
I know that not every dog is going to like the same dog food or one toy might not be good for every dog. But, I try to share what works for me, a big, fluffy goldendoodle.
But at the end of the day I am a small town dog, living in Southern Minnesota and looking for adventures around every corner.
How does my writing process work?
As I read this question it sounds like there should be a complicated answer, but just the opposite. I only write was touches or inspires me, which makes this process so much fun. There are two different ways I come up with my post: Topics then the Pictures or Pictures then the Topics
Topics then the Pictures:
When I come up with a topic the next thing I think about is the pictures that go with it. I never write a post without an image. I'm such a visual dog, so most of my post are written around my pictures that my mom takes.
Pictures then the Topic:
I may be at the farm or playing in the backyard and mom takes a bunch, well more like a ton, of pictures. Once I look through them, I get different ideas for possible topics/post.
Then, when I sit down to write my post, I try to think how the readers would like to seen it. Again, keeping everything visual, eye catching, and most of all fun!
I would like to share with you the blogs I have invited to join this tour.
I have invited Ruckus the Eskie to join the tour. I am always is awe of how Ruckus works the camera. His photos are always so beautiful and breath taking. He will becoming up to his 1st Blogiversary this month and has taken the blogging world by storm.
I have also invited, Murphy's Law - Stanley Rules to join this tour as well. Murphy and Stanley where the first Goldendoodles I met, when I first started blogging. Their humans take them on amazing hiking trips. But, the one thing that really impresses me the most, their humans do their grooming.
Again, thank you Emma for inviting me. Hope you all enjoyed getting to know my writing process. Please take sometime to check out Emma, Ruckus, and Murphy and Stanley's blogs!

Sepia Saturday: Cat Quote
Cats are furry waterfalls of Grace.
-Layla Morgan Wilde
I came across this amazing photo and needed to share it. Meet Abby, a very special cat. She has feeling in her back legs but can't walk on them, so she "scoots" around. On this day she joined her family out on the deck, enjoying the great outdoors. Isn't she just wonderful.
*Note: The only changes I did to this photo was added the quote and added the sepia effect. No changes to the cat were made. Per her owner, she normally sits like this.
*Disclaimer: Permission was given by the wonderful cat's kind owner for usage of this photo.

Thoughtless Thursday: Happy Mutt Day
Happy Mutt Day to all my pals out there, especially to my dear friends, Louie and Carlie.
Being rescue dogs we do not have a clear picture of Louie or Carlie's background. Who were their mother or father or grandparents. Now, with the help of modern technology, we can being to fill in those puzzle pieces.
About a year ago Louie's parents had his DNA tested and here are his results.
My pal Louie is a Afghan Hound/Boxer Mix crossed with Brittany Mix.
Although, these test are not 100% accurate, it does help paint a better picture of where Louie got some of his wonderful traits!
Hopefully by next year, we can figure out Carlie's background!
Happy Mutt Day!

Wordless Wednesday: Triple Studio Custom Pet Portraits
I'm excited to introduce to you Triple Studio Custom Pet Portraits. Triple Studio makes one of a kind pieces of art.
Triple Studio paints with a digital paintbrush and transfers the images onto high-quality watercolor/rice paper. You can see all the stokes and layers on the painting. Matte varnish is added on top to protect the art from dust and scratches. On the back of your piece it is signed by Crystal with their trademark.
I absolutely love this picture! Crystal did an amazing job not only on my portrait but was wonderful to work with. There was great communication and she wanted my input throughout the process to make sure I would love the outcome.
Since I got my hair cut we do look a little different. But next to the image we provided the portrait is spot on. If you were wondering about my bandana or collar, Triple Studio designs are simplistic and clean. If you ask me, my portrait fits perfectly with the decor in the living room.
