Mischief Monday: Renaissance Festival

What better way to kick off my Blogiversary week then to take a trip to the Renaissance Festival. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but mom reassured me that I would have a blast.

This weekend they had "Pet Fest" and let me tell you, I saw a lot of dogs great and small. 

Sunday was the perfect day to go. The sun was shinning, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and with a light breeze what more could a dog or a human ask for.  

There were so many great photo opps throughout the festival, but here are my two favorite ones. The first one I would like to call "My Knight in Shinning Armor."

If I could add a caption it would say, "What are we looking at?" 

My next favorite photo opp was with a pirate. 

What does a pirate dog say? Baaarghk!

I had so much fun at my first Renaissance Festival I can't wait until next year. I saw amazing costumes, heard funny and at time naughty comedians, and spent most of the day drooling over turkey legs. But, my favorite part was ridding the bus back to our car. It took every ounce of me not to stick my head out the window and yell, "Weee Wee Wee Weee!"

On our way home, my dad busted me and took this embarrassing photo of me sleeping in the backseat while I was still standing up. I guess that means I had fun.

I can not believe that one year ago I started this blog. This blog has taken me to places I have never been, met people and dog I would have never met and learn about amazing companies, organizations, and causes I would never have known about.

Wordless Wednesday: Announcing a Celebration

I would just like to thank everyone for the thoughts, well wishes, and patience with me this last week. My grandma was in the hospital and my mom was tending to her. Since I haven't grown any thumbs over the summer it was hard to get onto the computer without her. My grandma is now home and doing wonderful.

But, I promise, I am back and ready to celebrate. On Sunday, I celebrate my 1st Blogiversary! You are not going to want to miss this week long celebration full of fun, food, and of course AMAZING giveways!

It is that time of the year again when we dust off our backpacks, sport our new outfit and pack those lunches. When it comes to packing a lunch, you need to pack an exciting, brag worthy, and most of all the most delicious lunch around!

My brag worthy lunch concise of water, a banana, an apple, and Smart Cookee PB'N Jelly Treats.

Warm Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is sweeping the nation. So I decided to join in on the fun and do "The Warm Bucket Challenge." 

Please note, the day that I did this the temperature outside was in the 90's and the water that was used was room temp. My mom knows me well enough to know what I can tolerate. If your dog doesn't like water or being in this situation, do not subject them to this.
