So this week my mom hit up one of her favorite stores for some amazing deals and discounts!
This is what she ended up getting:
*6 cans of dog food
*4 body washes
*2 deodorants
*2 hand soaps
*1 toothpaste
*1 dish soap
*1 bag of dog food
She got all this for $14.48!
That is $0.85/item!
The dog food that we purchased will go into our donation box for our local humane society. Couponing is a great way to stock up not only for yourself but organizations in need.

WOW! What a steal! Now this is some extreme couponing. Teach me your ways. Thanks for linking up to Thoughtless Thursday! Glad to see that both sapiens and canines benefit from this deal.
ReplyDeleteGreat shopping! I am always SO amazed by those couponing shows. It just seems impossible! I think it is harder down here because most stores do not allow double or triple coupons or whatever it is. I've tried it before with only some slight success.
ReplyDeleteOh you did great on those coupons! I use them whenever I remember and I always feel so proud to see those 'cents off' add up! Great idea to donate the food too! Yay you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea and how kind Spencer. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Mom has always been a couponer, why leave money on the table when you don't have to! It leaves more cash for dog stuff...at least that is how my sisters and I feel about it!
ReplyDeleteI'm too lazy but I do use coupons. The newspaper twice a week (Sunday and Wednesday, their ad days) is only $4 a month. Every Sunday I clip the coupons only for things we would buy anyway. Then on our monthly trip to the commissary I save about $15. Then brag to my husband that I turned a profit haha. Imagine the bragging I could do if I had your methods!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! This a great thing that your doing! If more people would do these things, the pet world would be a better place! Great idea with the coupons to!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Ruckus and I for Thoughtless Thursday!

That is a brilliant idea...using the coupons for items that can be donated. You and mom are good eggs, Spencer.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday,

that is such a great idea! My Mom used to buy cat food for shelters until she was driving around with a CASE that she never brought over and it had expired. She has to start doing it again.
ReplyDeleteAn Awesome idea, our Mom is always coupon hunting, now she can do it to help out other puppers!

Good job!

Wow great idea. Have a nice day from Laika.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! Spotting sales and strategically donating to local rescues - love it.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of using coupons for donated items. Often I get coupons for things I don't use, but that doesn't mean someone else wouldn't. Thanks for the great idea. And you look very handsome Spencer. Meghan at 2catsandacattledog.com
ReplyDeleteYour mom is a coupon queen!

That's amazing! I'm not very good at couponing, though.
ReplyDeleteI really need to start couponing! So thoughtful to donate the dog food.
